Armenia is a source of activities against Turkey and it needs to give an unforgettable lesson to themâ€, said Deputy Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) of Turkey, member of the parliament and former ambassador Onur Oymen, APA reports quoting CNN Turk. Oymen said the decision of Swedish parliament disappointed all Turkish people. He said this campaign against Turkey began in 1975 when Turkish Army entered into Cyprus Island.
The former diplomat said Armenia intended to achieve recognition of so-called “Armenian genocide†in the European Union as well. “We warn the government. They will try to achieve “genocide†decision in EU and it will be considered as a crime to say that there was no genocide. We will bring this issue to the parliament agenda. There can not be a concession because it is an honor of the countryâ€.
Oymen said that they would demand recall of protocols with Armenia.
