320 more people will be evacuated from Georgia to Azerbaijan tomorrow, Azerbaijan’s embassy to Georgia told APA’s local bureau.
It was stated that out of the evacuated people, 119 persons are citizens of Azerbaijan, while the remaining persons are citizens of Georgia and Russia who have permanent and temporary permits for residence in Azerbaijan.
The evacuated people were carried through COVID-19 test in Tbilisi on August 18 and the results will be submitted to Azerbaijan’s embassy to Georgia within a day.
COVID passport will be issued to the persons who tested negative for the virus and they will be sent off on specially allocated buses at 10:00 a.m. on August 19 from the area in front of Azerbaijan’s embassy to Georgia to Sinig Korpu border crossing point. The evacuated people will not be quarantined in Azerbaijan.
