Police are searching for attackers who began firing in the Kreuzberg district of the German capital, according to preliminary reports. Law enforcement officers have arrived at the scene in the district. A helicopter is also involved in the operation.
The newspaper Die Welt has stated the incident occurred near the headquarters of the Social Democratic Party of Germany.
