Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said Sunday he has tested positive for the coronavirus, APA reports citing Politico.
“After two PCR tests, as of today I am positive with COVID-19,” Borissov wrote on Facebook. “I have a general malaise, at the moment, at the discretion of the doctors, I remain on home treatment.”
Health Minister Kostadin Angelov said he is self-isolating as he met with Borissov on Friday. “I isolate myself and consider myself quarantined. I will do a PCR test as soon as possible,” he wrote on Facebook.
