Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Archil Talakvadze said the incident occurred today in the meeting hall could be a provocation, APA's Georgian bureau reports.
The speaker noted that as a result of the incident, a few persons were poisoned and were delivered to hospitals.
“Very likely the incidents occurred in the meeting hall are a chemical attack against parliament members. It is regrettable that after the attack on parliament committed in June, we again encountered such a situation today. Some people have been poisoned, they are in hospital. Taking necessary measures have already been started and perpetrators of the incident will be identified”, A. Talakvadze stated.
