Coronavirus death toll in Georgia reaches 12 - UPDATED

Another death from novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been recorded in Georgia, APA’s Georgian bureau reports citing government-run website stopcov.ge.

Thus, coronavirus death toll in Georgia has reached 12.

The number of people infected with novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia has reached 652, APA’s local bureau reports citing the information placed on the special website created by the Georgian government in the framework of fight against coronavirus.

It is noted in the information that due to coronavirus, 4 246 people are kept in quarantine, while 394 people are treated under in-patient conditions. Some 383 of the infected people have recovered, while 11 people have died.

Remind that the first case of infection with novel coronavirus in Georgia was confirmed on February 26.
