French European Affairs Minister Amelie de Montchalin said on Sunday that EU's credibility and utility is at play during the ongoing coronavirus crisis, APA reports citing Sputnik.
She urged EU members to ask themselves how they are going to make decisions as the G-27 group given that they are unable to decide financial assistance to the COVID-19-hit countries.
Note that in a letter on Wednesday, leaders of nine European Union states, including France, Spain and Italy called for a common debt instrument to combat COVID-19.
