European Union (EU) has accepted Russia’s application regarding registration of the “Sputnik V” vaccine, Russian Direct Investment Fund says, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.
It was noted that the official application has been sent to European Medicines Agency in January in order to register the “Sputnik V” vaccine in the EU and this application has been approved by the Agency.
European Medicines Agency will make a decision on the issue of using Russian-produced vaccine in the EU, after determining whether that vaccine meets the relevant conditions.
