A virtual summit of leaders of the Eastern Partnership countries has started, Spokesperson of the President of Council of the European Union Barend Leyts wrote on Twitter, APA reports.
The summit, being held via video-conferencing, is joined by state and government heads of 27 member states of the block, as well as state and government heads of the Eastern Partnership.
The meeting is chaired by the President of the Council of European Union Charles Michel.
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell are also participating in the virtual conference.
