Finland’s Katri Kulmuni will step down as finance minister but continue to lead her party, she told reporters on Friday, after a magazine said she had used taxpayers’ money to fund training on how to speak in public, APA reports citing Reuters.

Kulmuni’s Centre Party will continue in Finland’s five-party coalition government, she said.

As the reason for stepping down, Kulmuni referred to the negative reaction following an article in the Finnish weekly Suomen Kuvalehti which said she had received training on how to speak in public worth nearly 50,000 euros ($56,655), paid for by the taxpayer.
