Fire localized in a market in Tbilisi - UPDATED

As a result of fire at a market in Tbilisi, 1,000 square meters burned and became useless, the Head of Tbilisi Fire and Rescue Division, Otar Kereselidze announced, APA’s local bureau reports.

According to him, 20 fire engines have been involved in the area and as a result of conducted work, fire has been localized. It is reported that there are no injured people as a result of fire.

A strong fire has been broken out in the territory of Eliava market, Tbilisi, APA’s Georgia bureau reports.

14 fire extinguishing staff of Emergency Situations management of Georgia have been involved in the scene.

Works are underway in order to localize the fire.
