Georgia's Interior Minister appointed as Security Council Chief

Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri has been appointed as Security Council Chief, Giorgi Gakharia, Prime Minister of Georgia, said at the Cabinet meeting today, APA reports citing Georgian media.

Vakhtang Gomelauri will replace Levan Izoria to the post, who resigned several weeks ago. Izoria will reportedly be appointed as Georgia’s Ambassador to Germany.
