Georgia is holding negotiations with Turkey for the evacuation of Georgian citizens from the virus-hit city of China - Wuhan, APA’s local bureau reports.
The fact has been approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
According to the Ministry, there are 7 Georgian citizens in the zone at the moment.
“We are carrying out an active work with the Turkish side for the evacuation of Georgian citizens from Wuhan by Turkish plane”, noted the Georgian MFA.
Note that Turkish media has disseminated information that the Turkish plane will evacuate 50 citizens, including Georgians, from China’s Wuhan before.
