Italy is opening its border with France in Ventimiglia on Wednesday, expecting visitors from the Schengen area, as the country lifts coronavirus restrictions, APA reports citing Sputnik.

From now on, tourists will be allowed to enter Italy without undergoing mandatory self-isolation, unless they have tested positive for coronavirus, or have been in contact with an infected person.
