The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic reported 10,165 new coronavirus cases in the country in the past 24 hours. According to the department's website, the last time over 10,000 new daily cases were registered in the country was on January 13, APA reports citing TASS.
According to the Ministry, the total number of cases reached 1,055,415 while 941,014 people recovered. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 17,642 died from complications caused by the virus.
At the same time, 5,921 patients were hospitalized with coronavirus in the Czech Republic, including 1,058 in serious condition. The total number of patients undergoing treatment is 96,759.
