The period of restriction imposed on regular flights due to the risk of spreading of the coronavirus in Georgia has been extended until May 22, APA’s local bureau reports citing the information disseminated by Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency. The report says the airline companies have already been informed about this decision.
"The adoption of the decision about resumption of flights will depend on the epidemiologic situation in Georgia. Taking into consideration the existing situation, we call on the citizens to refrain from buying air tickets without the official statement about resumption of regular flights”, the agency stated.
