State of emergency in Georgia not to be extended

Duration of state of emergency in Georgia will not be extended, said Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

According to him, the epidemiological situation in the country does not allow to extend the state of emergency scheduled to end on May 22.

Note that On March 21 Georgia declared state of emergency due to coronavirus pandemic. On April 21 the duration of the state of emergency has been extended until May 22 due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the country.
