Alleged coordinators of mass riots in Belarus were detained in the capital Minsk on Wednesday, APA reports citing TASS.

According to the news agency, one of those detained had been staying at hotel "Belarus." He is believed to have coordinated the actions of three subordinates.

Earlier, BelTA reported that the Minsk police detained a man who had given money to the protesters. "During his detention the man put up active resistance to the law enforcement officers and broke the nose of one of them. In his backpack more than $10,000 was found, which is believed to be payment for the participants of mass riots," the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
