“We resolutely condemn coup attempt in Armenia,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA reports.
He stated that Turkey is against coups no matter where it is.
“In democratic countries the people can demand resignation, but the resignation call of servicemen against a government elected by the people is unacceptable. There is an opportunity for stability of the region and this should be used. Normalization between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the region and lasting ceasefire is not enough. We are conducting discussions with the countries of the region about which steps we can take in “3+3” format. It is important to have stability within each country.We are against coup attempts,” stressed the Turkish FM.
