“I believe that the research negotiations with Greece to be held on January 25 will be the beginning of a new period for our neighborly relations with this country,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his address to Ambassadors of EU countries to Turkey, APA's bureau in Turkey reports.

Turkish President has called on Greece to refrain from actions that can escalate tensions in the region.

Stressing that the EU countries demonstrated unfair attitude against Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean and Northern Cyprus issues, Erdogan invited all those countries which are neighbors to the Mediterranean to fair cooperation.
