“A few months ago I appealed to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov for holding phone conversation, but he did not respond to my suggestion,” said Ukrainian FM Dmitri Kuleba at the press conference, APA reports.
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski also appealed to his Russian counterpart in order to hold negotiation, however, Kremlin also did not respond to it. I think that all of these are answers why Ukraine and Russia can not solve the solution to the conflict. Ukraine is willing to discuss a solution. There are formats for negotiations. If Russia responded to this request with a reciprocal and good intention, I am sure we would have found a solution. However, unfortunately, we do not see it,” noted Ukrainian FM.
