Ukrainian President appoints ambassador to Spain

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Serhii Pohoreltsev as ambassador of Ukraine to Spain, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

The respective decree has been published on the website of the head of state.

"To appoint Serhii Pohoreltsev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Spain," the document says.

By another decree, the president dismissed Anatolii Shcherba from the post of Ukraine's ambassador to Spain.

As reported, Serhii Pohoreltsev previously held the post of director of the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
