Ukrainian Security Service detains members of thief in law Lotu Guli's group in Odessa - VIDEO

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) conducted an operation in Odessa to detain members of an international organized group terrorizing citizens and entrepreneurs of the region, press service of the Security Service of Ukraine said, APA reports.
As a result of the operation, 4 members of the group were detained. It is noted that the attackers were going to kidnap a local businessman. SSU employees knew about the preparation of the gang for the crime.
According to preliminary data, the gang included more than 10 residents of the Odessa region. They created artificial conflict situations, and then demanded money from the victims for their solution. In case of non-payment threatened with violence and physical harm.
The SBU said that the thief in law Lota Guli, who was hiding from Ukrainian justice, controlled the group’s activities.
Operational investigative measures are ongoing.
