Westworld's Vincent Cassel has updated his fans after he was admitted to hospital following a crash, APA reports citing Mirror.

Vincent, 53, reportedly suffered slight injuries to his face and needed to be taken to hospital following the scooter accident, according to local French media.

Firefighters rushed to the actor's aid on the scene shortly after his fall, according to French newspapers.

Vincent took to social media on Thursday to update his 1.1million fans on his condition.

He wrote: "I'm alive, merci."

It's not known whether he remains in hospital.

Vincent was taken to receive treatment at a private hospital PolyClinique d'Aguilera in Biarritz.

The Mirror have approached Vincent Cassel's representatives for further comment.

The Westworld star has been living in the local area in a stunning villa with his model wife Tina Kunakey, 23.

Their love story started when they were first romantically linked in 2016.

They were married in a private ceremony in the nearby town of Bidart in 2018.

Last year, the couple welcomed their baby daughter Amazonie into the world.

Vincent has two daughters Deva, 15, and Léonie, 10, from his first marriage to Monica Bellucci.

They were married for 14 years but they decided to call it quits in 2013.
