Another Armenian provocation foiled in Tbilisi-UPDATED

The Georgian police broke up the march of Armenians in the direction of the Azerbaijani embassy in the capital Tbilisi, APA's Georgian bureau reports.

Law enforcement officers did not allow Armenians to march to the embassy building. As a result, the march stopped on Metekhi bridge. Armenians were forced to return as the attempt to negotiate with the police was unsuccessful.

Amenians living in Georgia wanted to march towards the Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia near the Avlabari metro station of the capital.
The police blocked the marchers holding Armenian flags on the Metekhi bridge. At that time, there was an incident with the police. A large number of law enforcement officers were involved in the area. Security measures have been strengthened around the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia and Heydar Aliyev Park in Tbilisi.
