Austria will allocate financial aid to Turkiye regarding the earthquake in the country and will send servicemen for search-rescue, said Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer on Twitter, APA reports.
“Terrible footage from Turkiye and Syria after the earthquakes show there were serious damage and many victims. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims. We stand by Turkiye and Syria in that hard time. The power of the earthquake is destructive. Austria will allocate 3 million euros from the Foreign Disaster Fund for local aid organizations and from tomorrow more than 80 soldiers of the Austrian armed forces will support the rescue operations in the earthquake area,” noted Chancellor.
