Russia and Turkiye have reached a preliminary agreement on the supply of Ukrainian grain from Odessa via Turkey, APA reports citing Bloomberg.

It is reported that Ukraine has not approved the supply of grain through Belarus.

"However, Kyiv is skeptical of the proposed agreement," said people familiar with the discussions.

Russia and Turkey have a UN-sponsored plan to clear mines in the port of Odessa and create a safe corridor for ships carrying grain from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean.

Today, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at an online press conference that Russia and Turkiye will organize the export of Ukrainian grain.

According to him, Russian military specialists are leaving for Turkiye today.

After the Turkish military clears Ukrainian ports of mines, a corridor will be set up to export Ukrainian grain to the sea.
