Bulgarian Ministry of Defense commented on rumors about the supply of Su-25 to Ukraine

Nikolai Milkov, Head of the Ministry of Defense of the Technical Government of Bulgaria said he did not know anything about the lot of Su-25 aircraft sold to NATO countries for further transfer to Ukraine, APA reports citing News Unrolled.

Earlier, the Bloomberg agency published an article listing the military aid Kiev received from Western allies. In the section “Aviation”, the author of the publication claimed that Bulgaria sold 14 Soviet-made Su-25 attack aircraft to NATO member states, and then transferred them to Ukraine.

“I don’t have such information, sorry, this is the first time I’ve heard of it from you,” the head of the Defense Ministry told reporters, Bulgarian National Television reported.

As stated, the Bulgarian military department is preparing a separate statement regarding the information published by the said agency.
