"Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu did not discuss Russia's declaration of partial mobilization during the meeting held in New York within the framework of the "Astana format" with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov," he told journalists, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.
"Lavrov will, of course, defend this decision. It is of course the decision of each country to announce partial mobilization, but what is the reason? A war is going on, when will it end, everyone wants to know. Will this mobilization pave the way for the war to be short or long? Of course, everyone sees that after this decision, the war will be prolonged".
Cavusoglu noted that for this reason, Türkiye wants to end this war soon by bringing together both leaders.
