The President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel, met with the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, said Charles Michel on Twitter, APA reports.
The meeting held during the high-level week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly held in New York discussed the restoration of the joint comprehensive action plan within the framework of Iran's nuclear program.
The EU head added that during the meeting, the sides discussed regional issues and bilateral relations, as well as human rights, especially women's rights.
