Post-war reconstruction of Ukraine will be one of the priorities of the Czech Republic, said Petr Fiala, Czech Prime Minister after a meeting of a group of experts with President Miloš Zeman, APA reports.
According to him, during the six-month presidency of the European Union (EU) from July 1, one of the priorities of the Czech Republic will be the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
The meeting participants discussed the situation in Ukraine, energy security, and other economic issues, as well as increasing defense spending to 2% of NATO's GDP, Fiala said.
The Prime Minister also said that under the agreement with Zeman, he will represent the Czech Republic at the NATO summit in Madrid in June.
