The earthquake that occurred in Turkiye caused the collapse of the only runway of the airport in Hatay province in the southeast of the country, APA reports citing CNN Turk.
According to the information, the runway completely destroyed and the airport can not accept the airplanes.
Note that a 7.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in central Türkiye on Monday. The quake’s epicenter was located 26 km away from the city of Gaziantep with a population of about 1.06 million. The source of the earthquake was 7 km below the surface.
