Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have announced the Russian President Vladmir Putin’s two conditions for renewing the Black Sea Grain Initiative (Grain Deal) as he responded to journalists’ questions after his Sochi visit, APA reports.
One of the conditions is the connection of the Russian Agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank) to the SWIFT system of the Türkiye’s Ziraat Bank.
According to the Turkish President, Putin’s second condition is about solving the issue of insurance of ships involved in grain transportation.
Erdogan also added that Russian President Putin has agreed to send 1 million tons of grain to 6 countries for the initial stage.
