Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has conducted a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Turkiye's Presidential Administration, APA's correspondent in Turkiye reports.

It has been noted that during the conversation, President Erdogan expressed a wish for the establishment of sustainable peace in the region as soon as possible by increasing the speed reached at the Istanbul talks.

Besides, Erdogan has noted readiness for the continuation of dialogue between intelligence services, suspension of war between Russia and Ukraine, and effort for mediation on the road to peace.

During the phone conversation, Erdogan and Putin discussed the exchange of prisoners between Russia and the United States that took place yesterday.
