Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan repeated on Tuesday that he is ready to organize a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, APA reports citing Teletrader.

In a phone call with Putin, Erdogan said he wants to "elevate the Istanbul process," after the Ukrainian and Russian foreign ministers met in the Turkish capital in late March.

Erdogan noted continuing the negotiations would "benefit all" and also called for "efficiently operating the humanitarian corridors and safely carrying out the evacuations." He stressed Turkey will "continue to make every effort to bring an end to the current state of affairs, which harms everyone, and to establish lasting peace."
