Erdogan: "We will prevent threat of hunger by signing the "Grain Transportation Agreement"

"By signing the "Grain Transportation Agreement" today, we will achieve to prevent hunger and further price increases everywhere from Africa to the Middle East, from America to Asia," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the signing ceremony of the "Grain Transportation Agreement" in Istanbul, APA's correspondent in Istanbul reports.

He noted that Turkiye had done great work cooperating with the Russian and Ukrainian sides to sign this agreement.

According to the president, everything has already been agreed upon in the agreement, from the departure of ships from ports to their arrival at the address.

Erdogan added that the war affects the whole world, and it is necessary to stop the suffering of innocent people: "I hope that this joint step can promote peace. "The war will stop only at the table."
