EU FMs to mull military aid to Ukraine

Foreign Ministers (FM) of European Union countries will discus military aid to Ukraine, said Joseph Borrell, the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security Policy, to journalists before the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, APA reports.

"I hope that today we will also be able to reach a political consensus on a new tranche for the EU Peace Mechanism," said Borrel.

Note that EU provides military humanitarian aid to Ukraine within this Mechanism.

Reminding the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group held in Ramstein, Germany, a few days ago, High Representative of EU said that today FMs will discuss military aid to Ukraine, the last state of the war and sending tanks to Ukraine.

Joseph Borrell added that Dmytro Kuleba, Foreign Minister of Ukraine will also participate in the meeting.
