The supply of F-16 fighters to Kyiv will hasten the implementation of NATO standards throughout the Ukrainian air defense system and the Ukrainian Air Force, the German magazine "Stern" revealed in an article published on Sunday, APA reports.
According to the article, there is now no alternative to the supply of F-16 fighters to Ukraine. Fighter jets will be delivered to Kyiv as the West agrees to begin training Ukrainian pilots, including F-16 fighters. At the same time, as mentioned in the report, "all air defense and air forces of Ukraine will be gradually modernized according to Western and NATO standards with the help of F-16." According to the paper, the development of air defense is continuing at full speed, and aircraft will now be added to it.
