Finland and Sweden say Turkiye not presented list on extradition

"No special list has been presented to Finnish and Swedish governments by Turkiye on extradition," said Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto and Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde at a press conference, APA reports.

"There is no list in the memorandum on the persons to be extradited. However, we will more closely work on the issues regarding terrorism, and will cooperate in the direction of exchange of information. At the same time, no special list or figures have been discussed in our discussions in Madrid.

As far as I know, our government has not received any special list as well," noted Swedish FM.

Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto has noted that no special list has been submitted to his government by Turkiye on the persons, who are required to be extradited.

"In general, decisions on removal from the country and extradition will be adopted in accordance with legislation of our country and court verdicts," Finnish FM stressed.
