Foreign Minister of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, APA reports citing the Georgian Ministry.
According to the ministry, the issues of strategic partnership between the two countries were reviewed at the meeting held within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly. It was noted that the parties paid special attention to the situation in the region.
"The ministers once again stressed the significance of ensuring peace for the sustainable and stable development of the region and emphasized the special role of both Georgia and Türkiye in this process," the information said.
