Georgian officials can’t and won’t provide military assistance to Ukraine, said the Chair of the faction “Georgian Dream” Mamuka Mdinaradze to journalists, APA reports.
He stressed that Georgia provides full political support and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, but can’t provide military assistance.
Mdinaradze attributed the rejection of the request for military aid to Georgia's own problems with Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Notably, Ukraine's temporary chargé d'affaires in Georgia Andrey Kasyanov said that Kyiv has repeatedly requested Tbilisi to transport military or dual-purpose vehicles, but Tbilisi has ignored these requests.
