Georgian police detain 133 people during protests against "foreign agents" law

Georgian police detained 133 people, APA's Georgia bureau reports citing the Georgian Ministry of Interior Affairs (MIA).

It was reported that participants of the action exceeded the limits of the freedom of speech and free assembly defined by the law and did not obey the legal requirements of the police.

Protesters threw Molotov cocktails, stones and pieces of wood, and other objects at the police. It was added that during the conflict, vehicles belonging to the Georgian MIA were run over and set on fire.

The MIA announced that 10 police officers were injured as a result of the conflict.
