The State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) has conducted an operation against members of the ISIS terrorist group, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports citing SSSG.
Reported that 6 Georgian citizens were detained as a result of the operation carried out by the anti-terrorist center of the institution in 4 separate places and at the same time based on the court decision.
It was determined that the detained persons had connections with influential leaders of the terrorist group and planned various terrorist attacks in several countries.
According to information, symbols of the terrorist group, weapons, explosives, and various pieces of evidence were seized during the operation.
