Georgian president harshly criticizes authority at country's Independence Day parade

Salome Zourabichvili, President of Georgia harshly criticized the authorities at the military parade held in Tbilisi after a two-year break on the occasion of the country's Independence Day, APA reports.

The head of state stressed that instead of testing the patience of the population, the government should prevent situations that caues anxiety and exasperation, protect its territory and control its borders.

Salome Zourabichvili also accused Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the ruling "Georgian Dream" party of insulting the population.

Salome Zurabishvili once again criticized the government for the resumption of direct flights between Russia and Georgia and accused the country of selling the country's dignity in exchange for the revenues that the flights would bring.
