“We are continuing our works on the evacuation of our 15 ships in Ukrainian ports. We are conducting negations both with Ukraine and Russia. We also continue our relations with the UN,” said national defence minister Hulusi Akar, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
“In this regard, the Ministries of Defense of Ukraine, Russia, and Turkey have appointed one general each. The meeting with the Russian general was held on June 1, and with the representative of the UN on June 4. Efforts are underway to deliver grain and agricultural products to their destinations as quickly and safely as possible. This situation impacts on the entire globe. We consider that we will have an opportunity to further develop the events in upcoming days,” he noted.
