"No proposals for peace in Ukraine can be implemented at the moment as Ukraine and its allies "insist on continuing the war," said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, APA reports citing Breaking The News.

"This includes the Chinese 12-point initiative and the newly announced Belarusian plan," he noted.

Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko are likely to discuss the truce proposal during their meeting next week. Peskov also announced Putin will take part in a session of the Russian Security Council later today and that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will report on a "new foreign policy concept."
