Ukraine's military forces said on Wednesday they have damaged one of the two bridges across the Dnieper river in the south enough to make it unusable by Russian troops, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The shelling of the Kakhovskyi bridge caused it to become "unfit for use," Ukraine's southern military command shared in a Facebook post, as Kiev increased its efforts to carry out a counterattack in the Kherson region controlled by Russia.
The latest attacks were conducted by combat vehicles supplied by western countries capable of utilizing long-range missiles.
