"French President Emmanuel Macron does not have a visit to Ukraine scheduled in the near future," French Secretary of State for European Affairs Clement Beaune said on Monday, replying to a question about the invitation extended to the French president by his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelenskyy, APA reports citing TASS.
"We are not talking about the next couple of days," he noted to Sud Radio.
"The republic’s president cannot make symbolic visits. He will go to Ukraine when it will be useful," the top official explained. He reiterated that France was providing military and humanitarian support to Ukraine.
