Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Hiroshima announced that the next year's event will be held in Italy's southern region of Puglia, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in mid-June 2024, with the specific location yet to be determined. Meloni emphasized the significance of choosing Puglia for the meeting, highlighting the region's role as a "bridge between the West and the East."
Meloni said that the exact timing of the summit will be determined based on the date of the European elections, which are expected to take place on June 9-10.
