Moldova is interested in reviewing the contract with “Gazprom” and more stable gas prices. said Andrei Spinu, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development in an interview with Jurnal TV, APA reports citing Lenta.ru

“We want to understand whether it is possible through negotiations to revise the terms of payment, since they are what create problems for us in this contract. In a situation where there would be a stable tariff and the price of gas would not change from week to week, we would have fewer problems with payment,” he said.

According to him, the government’s vision on the issue of gas supplies is to strive for stability and diversification of supplies. At the same time, he made it clear that Russian gas is very competitive and Moldova is not going to refuse it.
